Regions - Vancouver Island - North - Copley Crags

Copley crags are comprized of Basalt and located in the Lantzville foothills in the North end of Nanaimo. A very popular area especially for beginner to intermediate climbers as well as those learning to lead. It is also frequented by climbers out for the first climbs of the season as it is one of the first areas to dry and with with the south west facing aspect it remains quite warm in the cooler times of the year.
The grades range from 5.7 - 5.9 and are mostly sport with the exception of one mixed route. All routes finish with Fixe Ring anchors on the face and most have a back up bolt for added safety while top roping.
