Regions - Vancouver Island - North - Fairwinds (Nanoose Bay)

This is a small bluff with two tiers, one of 15 metres and one of 20. The rock is granitic (rare on the Island), and it's a novice-friendly cliff, with slab and crack climbs, easy toproping, and very short access. Plus it faces south and is sheltered. It was closed several years ago when a nearby housing development built a recreation centre at its base, and removed bolt hangers on the cliff. It remains closed.
